Community Events

A primary motivation of Beast Coast Trail Running is to build community and welcome everyone onto the trails. To meet this goal, Beast Coast goes beyond races - we organize group training runs, trail work days, and online chats.

Group Training Runs - we aim to organize monthly group training runs at various locations throughout the western Mass area. We want to explore different trails, and help folks feel comfortable for upcoming races. All group training runs are no-drop runs (i.e. no one is left behind!), and often offer a shorter and longer distance option. If the group is large enough, we will even break into a few different pace groups to allow groupings with a narrower pace range.

Trail Work Days - we aim to organize (at minimum) two trail work events each year, often partnering with local non-profit organizations (who know how to do proper trail maintenance). As trail runners and outdoor enthusiasts, we take advantage of the trails to explore this area. Therefore, it’s important that those who have the ability find time to contribute to the maintenance of these trails.

Online Chats - we aim to host a handful of chats via Zoom to discuss topics of interest to the trail running community. Reach out if you have any suggestions for topics you’d like to see discussed.
